On June 6, 2025, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin met with Ambassador of Armenia to China Vahe Gevorgyan.

Liu Bin said that under the strategic guidance of the two countries' leaders, China-Armenia relations have maintained a strong momentum of development. China is ready to deepen cooperation with Armenia across all fields and pursue common development and revitalization.

Vahe Gevorgyan said that Armenia attaches great importance to its relations with China. He will advance cooperation following the direction set by the leaders of both countries and elevate bilateral relations to a higher level.

The two sides also exchanged views on cooperation within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, among others.
