On August 28, 2025, Director-General of the Department of Asian Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Liu Jinsong met with Ambassador of Viet Nam to China Pham Thanh Binh. The two sides had a friendly exchange of views on matters concerning important high-level interactions in the next stage and on deepening the building of a China-Viet Nam community with a shared future that carries strategic significance.
