On August 29, 2025, Director-General of the Department of Asian Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Liu Jinsong met with Mongolian Ambassador to China Nyamaa Enkhbold. The two sides had friendly exchanges on China-Mongolia relations and high-level interactions.
Liu Jinsong quoted a Mongolian proverb, "Neighbors are connected at heart and share a common destiny", saying that China and Mongolia are friendly neighbors connected by mountains and rivers. He expressed the hope that both sides will jointly follow through on the important common understandings reached by the leaders of both countries, continuously consolidate strategic mutual trust, further synergize their development plans, and work together to build a China-Mongolia community with a shared future featuring peaceful co-existence, mutual support and win-win cooperation.
Nyamaa Enkhbold extended his best wishes for the complete success of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Tianjin Summit and the gathering of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. He stated that Mongolia is willing to work with China to deepen friendly cooperation and promote the advancement of Mongolia-China relations.
