Chinese President Hu Jintao Appoints New Ambassadors

On February 25, 2013, Chinese President Hu Jintao announced the appointment of the following new ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.

Huang Songfu was appointed ambassador to Portugal, replacing Zhang Beisan.

Song Yanbin was appointed ambassador to Costa Rica, replacing Li Changhua.

Qi Dayu was appointed ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, replacing Wang Kaiwen.

Li Yanduan was appointed ambassador to Samoa, replacing Zhao Weiping.
