President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassador

On January 4, 2016, President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China announced the appointment of the following new Ambassador in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC):

Pan Weifang was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, replacing Gao Yusheng.
