President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

Recently, President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC):

Ⅰ. Geng Wenbing was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Swiss Confederation, replacing Xu Jinghu (female).

Ⅱ. Yang Xiaorong (female) was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Madagascar, replacing Yang Min.

III. Liu Quan was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Vanuatu, replacing Xie Bohua.

Ⅳ. Chen Weiqing was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Iraq, replacing Wang Yong.

Ⅴ. Wang Shiting was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Malawi, replacing Zhang Qingyang.

Ⅵ. Wang Min was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Norway, replacing Zhao Jun.
