On July 26 and 27, the "Cultural China · Colorful Yunnan" art Troupe put on superb performances in the Jerash Art Festival and the capital city of Amman, Jordan respectively.  More than 600 people attended the performance, including Chinese Ambassador to Jordan Chen Chuandong, Jordanian Prince Firas and his wife, Minister of Culture Najar and diplomatic envoys of relevant countries. 

Artists from Yunnan China presented a diversified and colorful ethnic culture to the audience. They played famous Arabic songs with Chinese musical instruments, invited famous Jordanian singers to sing in Chinese, and joined Jordanian youth in a Jordanian folk dance, conveying the good wishes for peace and friendship.  

The performance was warmly received and applause continued.  Local media in Jordan and Jordan-based state media of China carried reports.
