On 4 December 2024, Her Excellency Chinese Ambassador to The Bahamas, Yan Jiarong, met with Her Excellency Indonesian Ambassador to Cuba and the Bahamas, Nana Yuliana. They briefed each other on China-Bahamas, Indonesia-Bahamas as well as China-Indonesia relations and exchanged views on the political and economic situations of the Caribbean region and the world at large, as well as some hot spot issues.
