On December 10, 2024, H.E. Mrs. Guo Haiyan, Chinese Ambassador to Guyana, leaves for China upon completion of her ambassadorial duty. 

Ambassador Ivan Evelyn, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Guyana and Chief of Protocol, bid farewell to Ambassador Guo at the airport. Key diplomats of the Embassy, representatives of the Chinese community and organizations in Guyana went to the airport or the Embassy to see her off.

Ambassador Guo arrived in Guyana to assume office in October, 2021.
