On 10th February, H.E. Wang Yu, Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, met with H.E. Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Somalia. The two sides exchanged views on deepening cooperation in various fields and further developing the strategic partnership between the two countries.

The both sides spoke highly of the recent development of China-Somalia relationship since Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) summit, and expressed expectations for more practical outcomes of the mutually beneficial cooperation on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
