On 24th February, Ambassador Xiao Jianguo was invited to attend the Fuzhou Shiyyi Association 2025 Chinese New Year Gathering along with Student Academic Excellence Awards Presentation, and had friendly exchanges with President Dr. Andy Lau Sie Chuong.

Ambassador Xiao extended warm regards of Spring Festival to all members of the Association and appreciated the Association's active role in advancing Brunei's economic and social development as well as China-Brunei friendship. He encouraged the Association to carry forward the fine Chinese traditions and contribute more to Brunei's development and the friendship between China and Brunei.

Together with Dr. Andy Lau Sie Chuong, Amb. Xiao presented excellence awards to 112 children of Association members.
