On 26 February 2025, Her Excellency Chinese Ambassador to The Bahamas, Yan Jiarong met with His Excellency Ambassador-at-Large for Cultural Affairs, Kevin Tomlinson and Director of Youth of the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture, Ms. Sandena Neely. Ambassador Yan shared China’s vision and initiatives in promoting cultural and youth exchanges. Both sides exchanged in-depth views on strengthening people-to-people ties, with a particular focus on youth and cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and The Bahamas.
