On April 2nd to 4th, Chinese Ambassador to PNG H.E. Yang Xiaoguang visited East New Britain Province of PNG.

Ambassador Yang met with East New Britain Governor Hon. Michael Marum and introduced the significant deployments of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and the 2025 National Two Sessions. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on deepening subnational exchange and expanding cooperation in fields including trade, fishery, tourism, environment protection, etc.

During the visit, Ambassador Yang met with Chinese companies and Chinese communities in ENB, and visited the projects done by Chinese companies.

Ambassador Yang also went to the Cemetery of War Veterans and Victims in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression to pay respects.
