Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Chinese Embassy in Maldives He Fen Meets with Mr. Ahmed Faseeh, the Controller General of Maldives Immigration

On April 13, Charge d'Affaires a.i. Ms. He Fen met with Mr. Ahmed Faseeh, the Controller General of Maldives Immigration, exchanging views on strengthening bilateral ties and cooperation.

He Fen briefed Mr. Faseeh the just-concluded central conference on work related to neighboring countries, saying that China-Maldives friendship is a microcosm of the high-level development of China's relations with neighboring countries. Under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries, China-Maldives relations will surely rise to a new level. The Chinese Embassy is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the Maldives Immigration, supporting the Maldivian side in further strengthening capacity building, facilitating personnel exchanges and the development of bilateral relations. 

Mr. Faseeh thanked the Chinese Embassy for its support and assistance to the Maldives Immigration over the years and hoped to continue receiving support in capacity building from China. He expressed his willingness to actively cooperate with the Chinese side to facilitate the entry and visa application of Chinese citizens and make every effort to ensure the safety of Chinese citizens in Maldives.
