Mission of China to the African Union Holds Reception for the Inauguration of China Chamber of Commerce to Africa

On April 28th, the Reception for the Inauguration of China Chamber of Commerce to Africa (CCCA) was held by the Mission of China to the AU. Amb. HU Changchun and Amb. Moussa Mohamed Omar, Deputy Chief of Staff of the AUC, attended and delivered speeches. Around 200 guests from the AU, diplomats from African countries and representatives from the CCCA were present. Minister Zhang Wei and Minister Counsellor Lyu Ruihao from the Mission also attended.

With China-Africa friendship at its best in history, Amb. HU said that China will stand in solidarity with African countries to overcome economic challenges brought by the U.S. abuse of tariffs, expand high-level opening-up and jointly advance modernization and globalization. The CCCA will facilitate the implementation of  the “ten partnership actions” of the FOCAC Beijing Summit, promote practical cooperation between the two sides, and contribute to building an all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future for the new era.

Amb. Moussa Mohamed Omar noted that China is a true friend and honors its commitment to achieve common development with Africa seriously. The AU will give full support to the Chamber and work to enhance Africa-China economic ties and South-South cooperation.
