On 14th May, H.E. Ambassador Tong Defa met with Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening the bilateral economic and trade cooperation.

H.E. Ambassador Tong stated that China-Ghana economic and trade relations are developing steadily, and China is willing to work with the Ghanaian side to implement the 10 Partnership Action Plans of the FOCAC.

Hon. Minister Ofosu-Adjare indicated that China is the largest trading partner of Ghana. Ghana is willing to further strengthen ties with China to meet the needs of both markets and achieve win-win economic and trade cooperation.
