From May 15 to 18, Mr. Sang Weiliang, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of Guizhou Provincial People's Congress, visited Liberia. During the visit, Mr. Sang paid a courtesy call on H.E. Sara Beysolow Nyanti, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Liberia, held talks with Monrovia City Mayor Hon. John-Charuk Siafa and relevant Liberian departments. The two sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation and inspected local municipal projects. Ambassador Yin Chengwu participated in the related activities.

This visit is an important step in implementing the outcomes of the meeting between the two heads of state and the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).
