On May 26, Ambassador Fan Yong met with Hon. Mmako Abram, Attorney General of Botswana. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening judicial cooperation between China and Botswana.

Ambassador Fan introduced China’s achievements in advancing  the rule of law and promoting anti-corruption and said that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries. China is willing to avail this opportunity to expand exchanges and cooperation in fields such as legislation, judicial and anti-corruption cooperation .

Abram introduced the functions of Attorney General’s Chambers. She expressed that Botswana admires China's achievements in anti-corruption, legal construction and other fields. The Botswana side would like to further strengthen cooperation between the two sides in certain areas of law.
