On June 3, Ambassador Huang Shifang attended the 2025 "Africa Day" reception hosted by the Mauritian President’s Office at the State House of Mauritius. During the event, Ambassador Huang held in-depth discussions with the  Mauritian President Dharambeer Gokhool, Deputy Prime Minister Paul Bérenger, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dhananjay Ramful, as well as other dignitaries and foreign diplomats accredited in Mauritius, on topics such as the future of Africa, development opportunities, and China-Mauritius cooperation.
