On June 26, 2025, the Chinese Embassy in Australia hosted the “China in My Eyes” China-Australia youth face-to-face exchange event. Ambassador Xiao Qian attended the event and made remarks. Over 60 participants were present, including teachers and students from Melbourne Star of the Sea College, and young diplomats from the Embassy.

Ambassador Xiao shared personal stories to vividly illustrate the CPC’s commitment to pursuing happiness for the Chinese people, rejuvenation for the Chinese nation, and common good for humanity. He emphasized that China’s path and system are the choices of history and the people, which have been proven in practice to suit the China’s national conditions, deliver real results, and earn public satisfaction. China will steadfastly advance national rejuvenation along the path of Chinese modernization. China and Australia are natural partners, should focus on common interests, manage differences, and keep bilateral relations moving forward. It is hoped that young people from both countries would enhance exchanges, build mutual trust, and jointly write a new chapter in China-Australia friendship.

Young diplomats of the Embassy introduced China's development achievements and experience, and answered questions from the students. Australian student representatives enthusiastically shared their impressions on China and participated in activities such as Chinese Ink Painting workshop and garden tour.
