On 4 August, H.E.Amb. Jiang Feng, Head of the Mission of China to the African Union, met with H.E. Nardos Bekele-Thomas, the Chief Executive Officer of African Union Development Agency - New Partnership for Africa's Development (AUDA-NEPAD), in the presence of Counselor Liu Xiaoming, etc.

Amb. Jiang welcomed H.E Nardos to the Mission of China to the AU. The meeting fully demonstrates AUDA-NPEAD’s high regard for China-Africa relations. Last year, the successful FOCAC Beijing Summit created a new historical starting point for China-Africa cooperation. China side is willing to join hands with AUDA-NPEAD to materialize the outcomes of Beijing Summit, strengthening pragmatic cooperation in multiple fields and jointly building an All-Weather China-Africa Community with a Shared Future for the New Era.

H.E. Nardos congratulated Amb. Jiang on his new post and expressed appreciation for China’s long-term contributions to promoting Africa’s infrastructure construction, industrialization and agricultural modernization. AUDA-NPEAD is willing to continue to deepen cooperation with China side in relevant fields, promoting Africa-China relations to a new level.
