Chinese Consul General in Auckland Chen Shijie Attends the Launching Ceremony of the “CEPMG Bookshelf ”at Confucius Institute in Auckland

Consul General Chen Shijie attended the launching ceremony of the “China Education Publishing & Media Group Bookshelf ” at Confucius Institute in Auckland and delivered remarks on 22 August. Member of the Advisory Board of the Confucius Institute in Auckland Paul Clark,Director of the Confucius Institute in Auckland Zhou Xuelin,Chairman of the Board of Auckland University Press Malcolm Campbell,Chairman of China Education Publishing and Media Group Feng Yunsheng, along with representatives from the education sector in the consular district,participated in the event.

Consul General Chen acknowledged that the launch of the 10th global “CEPMG Bookshelf ”serves as the concrete measure to implement the important consensus between the leaders of the two countries on deepening bilateral education exchanges and cooperation. He noted that the Chinese Consulate-General will always support people-to-people exchanges, facilitate deep and robust progress in education cooperation between the two sides, and contribute to the sound and steady development of bilateral relations.

Participants witnessed the launching of the “Bookshelf ”and the signing of the agreement between the China Education Publishing & Media Group and the Confucius Institute in Auckland.
