On August 19, Amb. Jiang Feng, Head of the Mission of China to the African Union, paid a courtesy call on Amb. Ewumbue Monono Churchill, Permanent Representative of Cameroon to the AU.

Amb. Jiang stated that China and Cameroom are comprehensive strategic partners. China values the important role Cameroon and Amb. Monono play in the AU affairs. He expressed his willingness to work closely with Amb. Monono to promote the China-Cameroon and China-Africa relations.

Amb. Monono welcomed Amb. Jiang’s assumption of his new post. He emphasized that the traditional friendship between two countries remains strong. He also expressed his willingness to strengthen exchanges and coordination with Amb. Jiang through the AU platform and facilitate the communication between the Chinese Mission and the AU agencies based in Cameroom.
