Chinese Consul General in Auckland Chen Shijie Visits Fonterra's Headquarters in Auckland

On 29 August, Consul General Chen Shijie visited Fonterra's headquarters in Auckland and met with Fonterra's General Manager of Trade Strategy & Stakeholder Affairs Justine Arrol, exchanging views on strengthening China–New Zealand economic and trade cooperation. Fonterra's Vice President of Greater China External Affairs Han Li was also present.

Consul General Chen highlighted the fruitful results achieved in the field of bilateral economic and trade cooperation in recent years, and praised Fonterra for its continued development in the Chinese market and its participation in the CIIE for eight consecutive years. He noted that China is on a Chinese path to modernization in all respects and will remain an ideal destination for foreign investors. He reaffirmed the Consulate-General is willing to actively play the role of a bridge and link, and work together with the business community in the consular district to deepen practical cooperation between the two countries.

Ms. Arrol introduced Fonterra's development strategy, emphasizing that Fonterra regards China as one of its most important markets. She said that Fonterra has established six application centers and one innovation center in China and is willing to grow together with the Chinese economy.
