On September 9, Ambassador Cong Peiwu met with the Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister and Director-General of East Asia and Oceania, Mr Mohammadi, to exchange views on implementing the important consensus reached by the two heads of state and promoting the steady and long-term growth of the China-Iran comprehensive strategic partnership. Mr. Mohammadi highly praised the Global Governance Initiative put forward by President Xi Jinping, and expressed Iran’s willingness to work with China to put the Global Governance Initiative into practice and implementation.
