Chinese Embassy in Malaysia Hosts Sharing Session Commemorating 80th Anniversary of Taiwan's Restoration

On October 30, the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia hosted a sharing session commemorating the 80th Anniversary of Taiwan's Restoration. Present was H.E. Ambassador Ouyang Yujing, who delivered an address to over 30 participants, including representatives from the local Chinese community and various sectors.

Ambassador Ouyang said that by establishing the Commemoration Day of Taiwan's Restoration, it demonstrates the Chinese people’s firm will to uphold the one-China principle and to defend national sovereignty and territorial integrity. It reflects the shared aspiration of all Chinese sons and daughters across the world, including compatriots in Taiwan, while affirming the international community's commitment to the one-China principle, as well as the indisputable fact that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China. This will further inspire compatriots on both sides of the Strait to strive together for the complete reunification of the motherland and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

The participants unanimously expressed their firm support for the establishment of the Commemoration Day of Taiwan's Restoration, along with their unwavering commitment to the one-China principle and opposition to "Taiwan independence".  They will continue contributing to the peaceful development of cross-Strait relations, as well as the advancement of China-Malaysia friendship and cooperation across various fields.
