On 19 November 2025, H.E. Mme. Ambassador Jiang Xiaoyan meets with Mr. Aleksandar Nikoloski, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications of North Macedonia.

They commended contributions made by Chinese company in accelerating road construction in North Macedonia, and discussed the ongoing project of Kičevo-Ohrid highway in particular as well as furth cooperation in the future. 

Ambassador Jiang expounded on China's achievements in infrastructure development and green transformation, as well as the goals set forth in the 15th Five-Year Plan for building a modern infrastructure system. She noted that China stands ready to share high-quality development opportunities with North Macedonia and to support the efforts of the latter to leverage its geographic and logistic location to enhance connectivity with other European countries.
