On 24 December 2025, H.E. Mme. Ambassador Jiang Xiaoyan visited Prilep and met with Mayor Dejan Prodanoski and President of the Municipal Council Biljana Kržeska. 

Ambassador Jiang noted that China pursues development through inclusive and win-win cooperation. The embassy stands ready to work with Prilep to enhance mutual understanding between the Chinese and Macedonian people as well as deepen exchanges in the field of clean energy, environmental protection and cultural heritage preservation.
