On February 27, Yin Chengwu, Chinese Ambassador to Liberia, met with Hon. Prince Kermue Moye, Chairman of the Committee on Ways, Means, Finance and Budget of the Senate of Liberia.

Yin briefed the state of China-Liberia relations, expressing his willingness to actively promote exchanges and cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries. Yin also briefed Hon. Moye on the outcomes of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, emphasizing that China will continue to advance high-level opening-up during the 15th Five-Year Plan period and is actively implementing the zero-tariff policy for African countries. He hoped that Liberia will seize the opportunity to deepen bilateral economic and trade relations.
Hon. Moye expressed his gratitude to China for its long-term support for Liberia's development, stating that China is a good friend of Liberia. He also said that Liberia is willing to vigorously develop its relations with China, strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in economic, trade, cultural, and people-to-people fields.
