On May 7, 2026, Ambassador Zhou Limin visited Scania and exchanged views with Mr. Christian Levin, President and CEO of Scania, on strengthening automotive industry cooperation between China and Sweden. Ms. Kang Wen, the Embassy's counselor in charge of economic and commercial affairs, accompanied him on the visit.

Ambassador Zhou gained a detailed understanding of Scania's development history and business operations in China, highly commended Scania's commitment to the Chinese market, and expressed his hope for Scania's continued success and prosperity in China.

Mr. Levin spoke highly of the development of innovative technologies in China's automotive industry, particularly in the fields of electrification, digitalization, and autonomous driving. He noted that although Scania faces intense market competition, the company has also benefited greatly from these innovative technologies and would like to continue strengthening industrial cooperation with Chinese counterparts in pursuit of mutual benefit and win-win results.
