Chinese Consul General in Los Angeles Guo Shaochun Holds 2026 Tea for Harmony Yaji Cultural Salon in L.A

On May 22,Consul General Guo Shaochun and his wife, Madame Wang Wei hosted 2026 Tea for Harmony Yaji Cultural Salon at the Consulate General of China in Los Angele, inviting more than 50 friends from the consular district to experience Chinese tea culture.

Consul General Guo highlighted that Chinese tea culture has a long history, embodying the philosophical concept of harmony between humanity and nature. Today, it releases momentum for high-quality development within the process of Chinese modernization, contributing to rural revitalization and common prosperity. He hoped that guests could better understand Chinese culture, enhance mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of  between the peoples of  China and the United States, and promote cultural exchanges and mutually beneficial cooperation.

Consul General Guo emphasized that last week the heads of China and the U.S. held a historic meeting in Beijing, agreeing to define the relationship as a  “constructive China-U.S.relationship of strategic stability,” providing strategic guidance for bilateral relations over the next three years and beyond.The Consulate General stands ready to work with all sectors within the consular district to jointly open a new chapter in China-U.S. relations.

The atmosphere at the event was warm and friendly.
