On September 24, Chinese Ambassador to Papua New Guinea Yang Xiaoguang led Embassy staff to the team's residence to visit and extend greetings to members of the 15th China Medical Team to Papua New Guinea.

Ambassador Yang extended holiday greetings to all medical team members for the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day. He highly commended the team for their performance, encouraged all members to continue carrying forward the spirit of the China medical teams, keep in mind their original aspiration and mission, serve the people of Papua New Guinea, and build a bridge of friendly cooperation between China and Papua New Guinea. Ambassador Yang also reminded the medical team members to strengthen safety awareness in all respects during the holidays, balance work and rest, and ensure that all work proceeds smoothly and in an orderly manner.

All members of the medical team said they felt deeply warmed and encouraged, and expressed that they would turn the Embassy's care into motivation for their work, give full play to the team's strengths, make every effort to provide medical services, and write a new chapter in China-PNG friendship.
