More Leaders of Countries and International Organizations Mourn the Passing of Comrade Jiang Zemin

More leaders of countries and international organizations have expressed their deep condolences by telegram, letter and other means to President Xi Jinping over the passing of Comrade Jiang Zemin.

General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong, Vietnamese President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam Vuong Dinh Hue said that Comrade Jiang Zemin was an outstanding leader of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the country, and that he had made outstanding contributions to the cause of building socialism with Chinese characteristics. Comrade Jiang Zemin and Vietnam's leading comrades jointly established the 16-word guideline of "long-term stability, future orientation, good-neighborly friendship and comprehensive cooperation", and proposed that Vietnam and China should be good neighbors, good friends, good comrades and good partners, thus charting the course for continuous development of relations between the two parties and between the two countries, as well as for achieving important results. The Vietnamese leaders expressed confidence that under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, the Chinese people will surely make new and greater achievements in the cause of building socialism with Chinese characteristics.

Nepali President Bidya Devi Bhandari said that former President Jiang Zemin was an outstanding leader and visionary statesman who played an important role in enhancing China's international status. Nepal will never forget former President Jiang Zemin's contributions to cultivating and consolidating Nepal-China good-neighborly relations.

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia expressed deep condolences over the passing of former President Jiang Zemin and extended their sincerest sympathy to the bereaved family and the friendly Chinese people.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog said that Mr. Jiang Zemin had laid a solid foundation for the robust development of China's economy. The Israeli people will never forget his important contributions to promoting the development of Israel-China relations.

President Wavel Ramkalawan of Seychelles said that Mr. Jiang Zemin had successfully led China in achieving rapid economic growth and social change and scoring remarkable achievements. Mr. Jiang Zemin has laid a sound foundation for today's friendly and cooperative relations between Africa and China.

Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki said that former President Jiang Zemin, who was full of foresight and wisdom, had made great contributions to China's rapid economic growth and remarkable improvement of its international status over the past several decades.

Prime Minister Manasseh Damukana Sogavare of Solomon Islands said that former President Jiang Zemin was an outstanding Chinese leader. The government and people of Solomon Islands stand firmly with the Chinese people to jointly mourn the passing of this great leader.

German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier said that former President Jiang Zemin had brought a profound impact on China during his term of office. His name will always be closely linked with China's economic take-off and its accession to the World Trade Organization. Germany will never forget his extraordinary efforts to promote the development of Germany-China relations.

Polish President Andrzej Duda said that Mr. Jiang Zemin's contribution to China's rapid development, reform and opening-up will always be remembered by the people.
