Zhou Tianshun

Born inJiangsuProvincein October 1940, Zhou Tianshun graduated from a secondary specialized school. From 1959 to 1963, he served in the Finance Division and the Supply Division of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China as accountant; From 1963 to 1968, he was accountant in the Chinese Embassy in Somali; From 1968 to 1972, he was accountant of the Finance Division of Ministry of Foreign Affairs; From 1972 to 1976, he was posted in the Chinese Embassy in Mexico as accountant; From 1976 to 1984, he served in the Finance Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, his position ranging from accountant through Deputy Section Chief to Deputy Director; From 1984 to 1990, he was in the Administrative Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Director and Deputy Director General; From 1990 to 1996, he was managing the Asia Trading Company, Hong Kong as President of the Board of Directors and General Manager; From 1996 to 1998, he was Director General of the Administrative Department; From 1998 on, he was Assistant Foreign Minister.
