From July 12 to 13, 2021, Chinese Coordinator for the Group of Twenty (G20) Affairs and Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu attended the Second Coordinators' Meeting for G20 Rome Summit via video link.

Ma Zhaoxu said, the pandemic situation is still grim around the globe and the economic recovery is quite different in various areas of the world. As an important forum of international economic cooperation, the G20 should adhere to true multilateralism, enhance solidarity and cooperation, focus on the pandemic response and economic recovery, and take joint actions to build a community with a shared future for mankind.

This Coordinators' Meeting mainly discussed the progress of G20 cooperation in various fields and the work plan for the next step, making political preparations for the Rome Summit.
