On May 26, 2023, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences of the Foreign Ministry Shen Bo met in Beijing with visiting Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Yemen Hans Grundberg. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on the UN Security Council's work concerning the Yemeni issue, and agreed to further strengthen communication on promoting the political settlement of the Yemeni issue.
