On August 15, 2025, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences of the Foreign Ministry Shen Bo and visiting Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa Xolisa Mabhongo held consultations on multilateral affairs at the United Nations between the two countries in Beijing. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on the current work in relevant areas of the United Nations and hotspot issues of common interest and concern.
