On February 14, 2026 local time, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

Wang Yi noted that Prime Minister Mark Carney's visit to China achieved fruitful results, fully demonstrating that the new Canadian government has adopted a new approach toward China.
