From September 29 to 30, 2020, China's G20 Sherpa and Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu attended the Third G20 Sherpa Meeting Riyadh Summit together with Special Envoy on G20 Affairs and Director-General of the Department of International Economic Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Wang Xiaolong.

Ma Zhaoxu said that in this year G20 has achieved fruitful results in various sectors in the fight against COVID-19 and economy resurrection. The Summit is to convey the positive signals of solidarity and cooperation, firm support to multilateralism and maintenance of multilateral trade system under G20 so as to jointly promote global economic governance and consolidate WHO's role in leading and coordinating the pandemic control.
