On December 15 to 17, 2020, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized diplomatic envoys of Eurasian countries to China to visit Guizhou Province. Diplomatic envoys and diplomats from Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Belarus, Uzbekistan and Ukraine to China and Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization attended the tour. Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng were present at related activities.

Member of the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee and Head of the province's publicity department Lu Yongzheng met with the diplomatic corps in Guizhou on behalf of Secretary of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee Shen Yiqin. Lu Yongzheng said, under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, Guizhou Province has insisted on centralizing the overall economic and social development upon poverty eradication, firmly defended the two bottom lines of development and ecology, and made hard endeavors to carry out the three strategic actions of massive poverty alleviation, big data and mega-ecology, making a historic success in the province's economic and social development. Lu Yongzheng hopes that the diplomatic envoys of Eurasian countries could promote their countries to engage in local exchanges, cooperate in the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor under the Belt and Road Initiative and spur economic and trade, industrial, cultural, tourism and education cooperation with Guizhou.

The diplomatic envoys retraced the path of General Secretary Xi Jinping's inspection in Huamao Village and walked in the fields in Chipingba, Shiban Town, to experience the remarkable results of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization; visited the Exhibition Center of the National Big Data (Guizhou) Comprehensive Pilot Zone in Guiyang City and also went to Huawei Cloud Data Center and Baishan Cloud Technology Co., Ltd. to understand the development of the big data industry in Guizhou; visited the site of the Zunyi Conference in Zunyi City to learn about the extraordinary course of struggle of the Communist Party of China.

The diplomatic envoys believe that the significant achievement of Guizhou Province in poverty alleviation is another Chinese miracle, which vividly illustrates the people-centered governance philosophy of General Secretary Xi Jinping, and the Chinese experience is worth learning from. The big data industry enshrines the years' leapfrog development of China in technological innovation. Guizhou's economic development and ecological improvement complements each other, proving that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" and demonstrating the profound content and strong power of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. The diplomatic envoys expressed their willingness to promote their countries' exchanges and cooperation with Guizhou in the fields of big data, education, tourism and youth and to lift bilateral and multilateral practical cooperation to a new level.
