On August 1, 2022, Assistant Foreign Minister Wu Jianghao met with outgoing Bangladeshi Ambassador to China Mahbub Uz Zaman.

Wu Jianghao spoke highly of Zaman's contributions to deepening China-Bangladesh relations and promoting pragmatic cooperation between the two countries during his tenure as Ambassador to China, and hopes that he will continue to care for and support the development of China-Bangladesh relations.

Zaman thanked the Chinese side for its support and facilitation during his tenure in China, expressing his willingness to continue to play a positive role in China-Bangladesh friendship.
