On July 17, 2025, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin, upon invitation, attended the National Day reception hosted by the Embassy of Egypt in China.

Liu Bin congratulated Egypt on its National Day, stating that under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, China-Egypt relations are at their best in history, serving as a model for solidarity, cooperation, and mutual benefit between China and Arab, African, and developing countries. China is ready to work with Egypt to fully implement the series of important common understandings reached between the two heads of state, and continuously advance bilateral relations towards the goal of building a China-Egypt community with a shared future.

Ambassador of Egypt to China Khaled Nazmy stated that Egypt and China enjoy a traditional friendship, and the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries has reached an unprecedented level currently. Last week, Premier of the State Council of China Li Qiang made a successful official visit to Egypt, achieving fruitful results. Egypt will continue to abide by the one-China principle and work with China to keep deepening cooperation in various fields and promote the continuous development of bilateral relations.
