
On November 12, 2025, Vice Foreign Minister Miao Deyu met with Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to China Abdulrahman Ahmad Al-Harbi, and they exchanged views on China-Saudi Arabia relations and international and regional issues of common concern.
Miao Deyu stated that under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, China-Saudi Arabia relations have made remarkable progress and are at the forefront of China's relations with Arab countries. China is ready to work with Saudi Arabia to deepen and solidify the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries. China will host the second China-Arab States Summit next year and is ready to make joint efforts with Saudi Arabia to make the summit a new milestone in the history of China-Arab relations.
Abdulrahman Ahmad Al-Harbi said that Saudi Arabia and China have witnessed continuously strengthened political mutual trust and in-depth progress in mutually beneficial cooperation across various fields. Saudi Arabia supports China in hosting the second China-Arab States Summit and is willing to enhance communication with China to ensure the summit's complete success. Saudi Arabia highly appreciates China's efforts in facilitating the reconciliation between Saudi Arabia and Iran, and looks forward to China's greater role in safeguarding international and regional peace and stability.
