Spokesperson of Chinese Mission to the EU Speaks on a Question Concerning China in the EEAS Special Report Update on Disinformation

Q: On 28 April, EEAS released its Special Report Update: Short Assessment of Narratives and Disinformation Around the COVID-19 Pandemic, in which it accused China of spreading disinformation by state-controlled media and claimed that “vaccine diplomacy” has replaced “mask diplomacy”. What’s your comment?

A: A disinformation report that has no factual basis is in itself an example of disinformation.
