Ambassador Huang Zheng Met with Vice President of the FSM

On November 2, H.E. Huang Zheng, Chinese Ambassador to the FSM, met with H.E. Yosiwu George, Vice President of the FSM. Counsellor Li Cuiying, the DCM of the Chinese Embassy and other Chinese Embassy diplomats attended the meeting.

H.E. Yosiwu George made a brief introduction to H.E. Huang about his recent trip to Gansu Province, China to attend the 3rd Silk Road (Dunhuang) International Cultural Expo. He expressed sincere gratitudes for the warm reception by Chinese Government, and said that the FSM would further implement the important consensuses reached between Chinese President Xi Jinping and the FSM President Peter Christian, push forward interconnectivity between the FSM and China, enhance bilateral cultural harmony and achieve win-win cooperations in the process of implementing the Belt and Road Initiative.

H.E. Ambassador Huang thanked Vice President for attending the 3rd Silk Road (Dunhuang) International Cultural Expo. H.E. Huang said that the Belt and Road Initiative is open and inclusive and will bring tangible benefits to those countries along the route. H.E. Huang emphasized that China would work closely with the FSM under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative to further expand exchanges and cooperation in various fields and promote the bilateral strategic partnership to a new high and bring more benefits to the two peoples in both China and the FSM.
