China Donates USD50,000 to the Indian Red Cross Society for the Flood Relief Efforts in Bihar

On behalf of the Chinese Red Cross Society, Mme. Bu Jianguo, Charge d'Affaires ad interm of the Chinese Embassy in India met with Dr. S.P. Agarwal, Secretary General of the Indian Red Cross Society on September 16, 2008 and handed over a cheque of 20.5 Lakh (USD50,000) for the flood relief efforts in Bihar.

Dr. S.P. Agarwal expressed sincere thanks to the Chinese Red Cross Society for the generous donation and promised to put the fund into full use.
