Notice on Adjustment of Calculating Validity Period of Negative COVID-19 NAT Test Certificate for Passengers to China

To further strengthen the prevention and control of COVID-19 and facilitate passengers to China to calculate the validity period of negative nucleic acid test certificate (hereinafter referred to as the “certificate”), starting from 0:00 on 9 October 2020 (Friday), the validity period of certificates held by passengers flying from Singapore to China (including direct flights and transfer via a third place) will be calculated based on the date of testing, not the date of issuance. Passengers with negative certificates can take flights to China within 3 days after taking the test. For instance, if passengers take the COVID-19 test on 6 October with the negative result. They can take the flight to China on or before 9 October(see Annex).

Therefore,the Embassy kindly reminds passengers to make testing arrangements in advance to ensure that the departure time of the flight is within the validity of the test certificate, so as not to affect the trip to China.
