Ambassador Lyu Jian Met with Foreign Minister of Thailand H.E. Don Pramudwinai

May 4th, Ambassador Lyu Jian met with H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, to exchange views on China-Thailand relations and international and regional issues of common concern.

Ambassador Lyu expressed appreciation to Mr. Don Pramudwinai for his extraordinary contribution on promoting China-Thailand friendship. The saying “China and Thailand being the members of one family” vividly portrays the special relations between us. China attached great importance to the development of China-Thailand relations and was ready to work together with the Thai side to further push the China-Thailand relations to a new high. Ambassador Lyu noted that Asian countries are building towards a more and more integral community of shared destination with the good momentum of development and flourishing regional and sub-regional cooperation. China is will to further strengthen cooperation with the Thai side in promoting the common development and prosperity of the region.

Mr. Don Pramudwinai welcomed Ambassador Lyu on his assumption of office in Thailand. He agreed with Ambassador Lyu’s comments on bilateral relations. Thailand and China would work hand-in-hand to deepen our friendship and the pragmatic cooperation in various fields. Thailand highly appreciated China for its active attitude towards cooperation internationally and regionally and looked forward to strengthen close cooperation with China.
