Chinese Experts Joining Search and Rescue of Teenage Football Team of Thailand

People from around China are all very concerned about the safety of the teenage football team missing in the cave in Northern Thailand. At the invitation of the Thai side, 6 Chinese experts of cave rescue with professional equipment have arrived in Thailand and will reach the rescue site in Chiang Rai later today. These experts are with Beijing Peaceland Foundation, which has over 100 rescue teams and has actively involved in rescue activities in Myanmar, Nepal and other countries. They will work closely with the Thai side and other rescue teams, and make all out efforts in the search and rescue operation.

The Chinese Embassy in Thailand and Consulate-General in Chiang Mai will follow closely the development of the search and rescue work, and stand ready to provide further assistance. Together with the Thai people, we pray for the early return of the young football players and their coach.
