Xi Jinping Sends Message of Condolences to Pakistani President over the Serious Terrorist Attack in Pakistan

On December 17, 2014, President Xi Jinping sent a message of condolences to President Mamnoon Hussain of Pakistan over the serious terrorist attack causing heavy casualties in the country.

Xi Jinping said that I was shocked after learning of the serious terrorist attack in Peshawar of your country, which caused heavy casualties. I, on behalf of the Chinese government and people and in my own name, extend deep condolences to the victims as well as sympathy and solicitude to those injured and family members of the victims.

Xi Jinping stressed that China opposes any form of terrorism and strongly condemns this brutal and inhuman terrorist attack. The Chinese people are deeply sympathy with the grief of the Pakistani people. China firmly supports the Pakistani government's efforts to fight terrorism.
